We may communicate with you by text message (SMS), through Microsoft Teams, by email, by phone or during phone appointments for professional and administrative purposes, in particular to:
- confirm, change or cancel an appointment;
- send reminders;
- answer your questions;
- ensure administrative follow-up;
- conduct phone consultations or follow-ups when agreed with you;
- share images or documents;
- send and receive documents, including approvals for Agreements regarding psychological services and Authorizations to exchange information between professionals;
- send Payment Attestation forms or Receipts for tax purposes.
Consent to electronic and phone communications
By providing us with your mobile phone number or your Microsoft Teams contact details, you consent to receive communications related to our services.
Your consent remains valid until you withdraw it.
Unsubscribing from text messages (SMS)
You may withdraw your consent to text messages at any time by:
- replying STOP to any text message received;

Upon receipt of your request, we will stop sending non-essential text messages within a reasonable timeframe.
Microsoft Teams communications
If you use Microsoft Teams to communicate with us, you may at any time request that communications stop or be transferred to another means of communication.
Phone appointments
When you accept a phone appointment, you consent to being contacted at the phone number you provided to us.
These calls may be used for:
- professional consultations;
- clinical follow-ups;
- appointment confirmations;
- administrative discussions.
If you wish to change your phone number or withdraw your consent to this means of communication, please let us know.
Although we take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of exchanges, it is also your responsibility to ensure that you are in an appropriate and confidential environment at the time of the phone appointment.
SMS message frequency
The frequency of text messages is variable and depends on your appointments and your exchanges with us. On average, you can expect to receive up to 4 messages per month.
Charges
Standard message and data rates may be charged by your mobile or internet service provider depending on your plan. Christian Blanchette, Psychologist does not charge any additional fees.

No sharing of information
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Your personal information, including your mobile phone number, is never sold or rented, and is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Confidentiality of communications
